Sarmishsay is a unique archeological complex, where localized ancient settlements, tombs, burial mounds and holly places besides artifacts of rock art. Numerous work of rock art are not only the results of ancient artistic self-expressions, of the ancient painters, but also reflect spiritual, religion outlook and tradition. This issue is of interest for experts, historians and archeologists who research the history and ethnography of the people of Uzbekistan.
